About Us

Benefit Services was established in 2018 to provide professional, caring and dedicated administration of health care and retirement benefits to the members and their dependents of United Association Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Pipefitters Local Union 725 and to provide remittance support to the contributing employers of Mechanical Contractors Association of South Florida.

The Offices of Benefit Services are located at 15800 Pines Blvd., Suite 201, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33027.  

The Funds

The Employee Benefit Trust Funds are administered and maintained by a Board of Trustees, which consist of equal number of labor appointed and management appointed Trustees.

Each Employee Benefit Trust Fund is administered through the terms and provisions of their respected Plan Document and Trust Agreement.

Pipefitters Local Union 725

United Association Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, & Pipefitters Local Union 725 represents more than 1,200 members in the South Florida area working in the air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical systems industry. Local 725's work covers installation, retrofit, service maintenance, repair of water & sewer treatment plants, fuel piping installations for airports, ink piping installations for newspaper plants, ammonia, and glycol systems for cold storage and ice rinks, pharmaceutical plants, plus many other.

Chartered on June 22, 1950, Local Union 725's jurisdiction encompasses Miami-Dade, Broward, and Monroe counties as well as jurisdiction in 4 coastal counties on Florida's west coast; Collier, Lee, Charlotte and Sarasota for all HVAC Mechanical Service.

Local 725's training center, ARPEC (Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, and Pipefitting Education Center) has deep roots in the State of Florida, first registered as an Apprenticeship program on October 11, 1949. Since then ARPEC has continued to lead as one of the most highly regarded Apprenticeship program in the United States and Canada.

Mechanical Contractors Association of South Florida

The Mechanical Contractors Association of South Florida is an association representing contractors who build and service heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration and piping systems in the metropolitan areas of Miami and Ft. Lauderdale and their suburbs as well as the Florida Keys. Through education, legislative representation, bargaining and networking opportunities, MCASF helps our contractor members steer their firms in the right direction for the future. MCASF is affiliated with the Mechanical Contractors Association of America and the Mechanical Service Contractors of America and our contractor members are signatory to the United Association Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Pipefitters Local Union 725.
